Frequently asked questions
Will we meet you beforehand?
Absolutely! An initial consultation is essential, firstly to get to know one other, and secondly for you to tell me your wishes so that I can take the best possible photos on your big day.
What areas do you cover?
I can travel to most places in the South East of England, including Sussex, Kent, Hampshire, Surrey and London. But I will have to charge travel expenses if you are situated more than an hours drive from Brighton, where I am based.
How many photographs will you take?
In an 8 hour day I can take between 200-400 photos. For a 2 hour session it would be between 80-150. All pictures will be yours (saved onto DVD), and if you require I will select the best ones for your photobook.
Do you photograph gay weddings or civil partnerships? What about other religious ceremonies?
Yes, my only concern is for you to be happy with my work. Whatever commitment you choose, or occasion you'd like me to photograph, this is your day.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If it rains it’s only going to delay outdoor scenes. But I'm sure there will be a clearing to shoot great pictures. In extreme weather, don’t worry, we can always fix another appointment to take pictures of you in your wedding dress, for example.
What kind of camera do you use?
I currently work with the new DSLR Sony a900 (25Mpx), fitted with the DT 16-80mm and G 70-300mm lenses.
